Military Science
Bradley University is an extension university in partnership with the ROTC program at Illinois State University, providing education and training to Bradley students who desire to earn an appointment as commissioned officers in the United States Army. The goal of ROTC is to commission college graduates into the Active, National Guard, and Reserve components of the Army. Military science classes are conducted at Bradley University and are recorded on the students' Bradley transcripts.
In addition to their academic classes, cadets also complete training classes that incorporate physical training and fundamental Soldier skills. Summer training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, is also required for cadets entering their junior year, and additional voluntary off-campus training is also available as a part of the ROTC experience.
