Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Minor

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers a minor in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. This minor will allow any undergraduate student or post-baccalaureate student the opportunity to learn about the fast-growing field of communication disorders. Students who complete the minor requirements will be eligible to apply to most graduate programs in Speech-Language Pathology.

Program Mission

The Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) Program is committed to providing students with a comprehensive education in human communication and in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of communication disorders across the lifespan. The minor program provides undergraduate students with the minimum requirements needed for entrance into most graduate programs in speech-language pathology or audiology.
