Degree Requirements
- All MEI students must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 in music courses during the first two years in order to achieve advanced standing.
- A “sophomore review” will be held during the fall semester of each student’s sophomore year. At the beginning of the fall semester, each sophomore MEI major will be scheduled for a meeting with his or her advisor, the department chair, and other faculty members as required for a review of the student’s progress up to that time. The purpose of the review is to address any deficiencies that might impede the student’s continued progress in his or her chosen field.
- Students will also have an opportunity to pose questions relevant to their academic programs at Bradley and their intended goals.
- For graduation, all MEI majors must have a grade point average of 2.25 for all courses taken in the major (including courses outside the department required for the major).
- MEI majors may apply a course to more than one major or minor if the corresponding department is in agreement.
- MEI majors are encouraged to double major in a supporting academic field.
