International Studies Minor

The minor is designed to enhance the educational experience of the student by adding a global perspective to his/her major field of study. Completion of the minor includes three required courses (I S 103 , I S 104 , and PLS 275 Political Economy of the Developing World) and three elective International Studies courses offered at the 300 or 400 level. A candidate for the minor is expected to work closely with his/her advisor to choose elective courses that are appropriate to the concentration desired by the student. Successful completion of the minor requires a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in International Studies coursework.
