Requirements for CFA Global Scholars Program/Bradley University Coordinated Global Scholars Program

1. Core Global Scholars Courses  

Select one course in each of the following areas: 112.0
Fine Arts (FA)
Global Perspectives (GP) World Cultures (WC)
Global Perspectives (GP) Global Systems (GS)
Humanities (HU)
World Language: Complete at least one semester. Language may be taken in conjunction with a study abroad program. 3.0-4.0

Courses taken during a semester study abroad may also be accepted for specific areas with approval by the College Global Scholars Coordinator/Advisor 

2. One globally focused 1-credit seminar, with an additional seminar recommended 

If students take a second seminar, it should be from a College other than their home College. 

Choose from:  CFA 300 CFA International Option Seminar, EGT 301 CCET Global Scholars Seminar, EHS 300 Professionalism Across CulturesI B 101 International Intellectual and Cultural Events, LAS 125 Global Topics in Liberal Arts and Sciences + other seminars as approved by College Global Scholars Coordinator/Advisor.

3. Participation in an approved international cultural study-abroad experience. 

Participate in an approved international study experience selected from ensemble travel, international internships, or Bradley Study Abroad Programs.

4. Internationally-focused campus and community student engagement opportunities 

Global Scholars are highly encouraged to take advantage of the many co-curricular opportunities available on campus relevant to the Program goals, for example:

  • Seminars/presentations/lectures on global topics
  • Participation in relevant student organizations, such as the Asian Culture And Language Club, French Club, the LatinX Leadership Council, Pizza and Politics, etc.

MINIMUM GPA: 2.5
