Global Scholars Program

In the fields of education and health sciences, awareness of global developments and cross-cultural competencies are crucial for respecting and learning from people of other cultures, whether they are patients, students, clients, or colleagues.

The Global Scholars Program (GSP) is designed to prepare professionals for this international state of affairs. The GSP credential can be earned by any student in the College of Education and Health Sciences regardless of major. In addition to enriching the college experience, designation as a Global Scholar helps Bradley graduates stand out in job searches.

When planned early in the college experience, completion of the GSP entails neither additional expense nor additional time to graduate.

Global Scholars will…

  • demonstrate increased awareness of and appreciation for cultural, ethnic, and disciplinary backgrounds.
  • identify and analyze crucial factors in developing global and cross-cultural communication and attending to issues of diversity in one's chosen profession.
  • demonstrate greater awareness of global perspectives in communication, collaboration, diversity, and professional networking.
